Agricultural cooperatives develop Romanian agriculture

The event brings together representatives of agricultural cooperatives, non-governmental organisations and national public authorities for about two hours of dialogue on the current state of the agricultural cooperative sector in Romania – how it has evolved, the challenges faced by newly established cooperatives, and their prospects.

The Romanian Center for European Policies will present the conclusions of two research reports: a secondary analysis of official data on agricultural cooperatives, and a survey bringing together information from 153 agricultural cooperatives in Romania set up between 2020 and 2023.
