Pasture milk certification (PRO Weideland)

Consumers are increasingly interested in where products come from, in their impact on the environment, and in the welfare of the animals involved. In this context, PRO Weideland certification is a route for farmers who want to align their practice with sustainability standards and to increase the added value of their products.

One of the main aims of this paper is to explore how PRO Weideland certification can increase the added value of the milk and dairy products that farmers sell. By adopting the certification, farmers can improve the quality of their products, reach new markets, obtain premium prices, and become more visible and more credible.
