Models of agricultural advisory systems. A cross-country analysis

This report analyses the structure of the agricultural advisory system in five European countries (Poland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Ireland and France) and in the United States, in order to identify what made those systems perform well and work as a whole. The report is meant to provide a basis for defining a national model of agricultural advice in Romania.

The cross-country analysis was prepared under the project “Planning and exploration of farmers’ access to private agricultural advisory services”, funded by a grant from the Romanian-American Foundation and coordinated by the Civitas Foundation for Civil Society Cluj, from 1 January 2022 to 30 April 2023.
